Turning Fine Art into Fine Wine
Overview
Vin Bon Richmond Hill and Royal Rose Gallery are joining forces to celebrate the perfect pairing of wine and art. We are searching for three outstanding artworks to feature as labels on Vin Bon’s top three selling wines for 2026:
Bold and full-bodied, this Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon delivers rich aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and subtle spice. The palate is layered with dark berry flavours, hints of vanilla, and a touch of toasted oak, leading to a smooth, lingering finish.
Food Pairings: Perfect with grilled meats, hearty pasta, or aged cheeses.
A blend of Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Inzolia. Pinot Gris gives body, Sauvignon adds acidity and freshness, and Inzolia adds a gentle aromatic nose, lemon, fruity palate and fresh, clean spicy finish. Flavours highlight stone fruits such as peach, nectarine, and apricot.
Food Pairings: Citrus Cooked Fish, Thai Green Curry, Crab meat salad, or Gnocchi in a light cream sauce.
Rich berry fruits found in Merlot paired with juicy blueberries and tangy tart pomegranate create a perfect balance.
Enjoy with: Soft creamy cheeses or delicate seafood.
Artists have the unique opportunity to see their work transformed into a wine label, showcased to customers, and celebrated in both the art and wine communities.
Who Can Enter
Open to all artists. Each artist may submit one artwork per wine (up to 3 submissions total).
Entry Fee
$25.00 per artist (covers all eligible submissions). E-transfer can be sent to: royalrosegallery@yahoo.com or paid in store.

- Submission Deadline: November 1, 2025
- Winners Announced: December 1, 2025
Prizes & Opportunities
- $100 cash prize per winning artist (one winner per wine)
- Complimentary bottle featuring your artwork label
- Professional photography of the winning piece by Dana Leigh Portraits
- Artwork on display and available for sale at Vin Bon Richmond Hill during Spring 2026
- Future exhibitions, pop-ups, and gift shop space available at Vin Bon
Submission Guidelines
- Artwork must be original and suitable for wine label formatting (vertical orientation preferred)
- Digital or physical submissions accepted (physical artwork should be clearly labeled with artist info and wine flavour)
- Label design must reflect the personality of the wine category submitted for (Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Italian White, Pomegranate Merlot)

- Submit your artwork(s) between Sept. 5 and Nov. 1, 2025
Selection Process
Entries will be reviewed by a judging panel from Vin Bon and Royal Rose Gallery based on:
- Creativity & originality
- Visual appeal for a wine label
- Connection to the wine’s character
